Opened in January 1994, the Pre-school provides high quality Nursery care and education for children from 2-5 yrs.


Fully validated by Ofsted, and with membership of Sefton’s Early Years and Childcare Partnership we are able to apply for the Nursery Education Grant for three and four year olds.


Our links within St Peter’s parish and Formby community are highly valued – including  St. Peter’s Church, local schools and toddler groups.

 

Highly qualified and experienced staff provide a secure and friendly atmosphere in which each child is given the opportunity to develop life long skills and explore experiences, through play,  based on the DfES’s

 

“Early Years Foundation Stage”

 

 

Two Separate Rooms :2-3's Room and 3-4's Room

Both rooms are equipped with age and ability appropriate equipment. Children in either room will have access to outdoor play, except in the most severe weather. We have 3 different outdoor areas, with a good range of toys and open ended equipment to enable children to explore their environment. All learning is play based and levelled at the individual child's current developmental stage.


We are committed to constant reinvestment and improvement of our equipment and resources and are able to offer a comprehensive range of toys and carefully programmed activities.
