Our Staff

Training and professional development is a very important part of our service at Paradise Lane, and we work very hard to ensure that we are up to date with the very latest research and legislation – which enables us to continue to provide the children with an outstanding early year’s experience.

We are pleased to tell you that in addition to training we access from the Local Authority the following members of staff are pursuing further training at college and university:

Louise – Masters in Education

Becky – BA Hons in Early Years Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Rachel – BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies

Nicky – NVQ 3 Children’s and Young People’s Workforce

We will also be joined by two student placements, Brittany (Monday and Thursday) and Jade (Wednesday) over the next few months.  We welcome them and hope they enjoy the experience with us.

The setting prides itself on its commitment to the continuous professional development of the practitioners. This on-going training and research ensures that the setting is up to date with all government initiatives as well as current thinking with regards to high quality early years practice.

The staff members at Paradise Lane (St. Peter’s) work as a team and adult : child ratios are met as follows:-
